EBH collaborated with Little River on the Main Street Streetscape project through future city planning. During the planning phase, it was determined the historical downtown look would be important to the heritage of the town. Streets and sidewalks throughout the town were evaluated and prioritized on whether replacement and/or repair would be appropriate for each street. After completing the plan, EBH and the City of Little River applied for grants and funding which was instrumental in funding this project.

Coordination was an important component to competing this project, because there were several funding agencies that were involved. The timing of when the project would bid and how the grants were awarded had to be carefully planned. The funding was split between the City of Little River and KDOT. EBH worked with the funding agencies and the City of Little River to meet these requirements, therefore getting all the appropriate funding.

The team maintained the historical downtown look while meeting the modern code requirements and business owner requests.
