Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically on the online plan room of the engineer: https://ebhengineering.com/plan-room/, until August 5, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. local central time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read via telephone and video conference immediately after the specified closing time. Interested persons may listen to a live teleconference or video feed of the bid opening through a Microsoft Teams meeting invitation that will be sent to plan holder’s email addresses on the day prior to bid opening. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.
Major items of work include: 153 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 30 lineal feet of curb and gutter combined, 1,888 square yards of 4” sidewalk construction, 112 square yards of 6” sidewalk construction, 3 each pedestal water bottle filling stations, 1 each playground shade installation, 1 picnic area shade installation, seeding and appurtenances.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $100.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded by the contractor will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.
Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
