image description

The City of Oakley needed a new airport entrance and entrusted EBH to design and oversee the construction of the project. The project included a new access road from US Highway 40 to the pilots lounge/FBO hangar/main apron area. EBH worked closely with the utility companies and local FAA field office to provide information regarding the construction. EBH conducted field design surveys, and the surveys located existing utilities, facilities, and structures on the airport property within 100’ of the Project. All testing of existing pavement, base, and subbase materials was determined during the design phase. EBH assisted the City of Oakley in preparation and submission of all AIP forms, documents, and reports to comply with all conditions of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant.
