The City of Hillsboro, Kansas will receive sealed bids for the construction of  Water System Improvements 2018 at the City Hall, 118 E. Grand, Hillsboro, KS 67063 , until 2:00 P.M. (CDT), Tuesday, July 24, 2018 . Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Major items of work – Work consists of 1,600 L.F. of 4” fused HDPE and 10,600 L.F. of 4” through 12” PVC distribution waterline to be bored and/or open cut to replace existing waterlines for the City of Hillsboro, including 84 gate valves, 149 service connections including AMR meters, fire hydrant replacements, abandonments, paving, seeding, erosion and traffic control, and appurtenances.
