Bids for the Project will be received by hard copy at 1820 W Kansas Ave, Garden City, Kansas 67846, or electronically on the online plan room of the engineer: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, until July 11th, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. local time. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Major items of work: Prepare interior and exterior metal surfaces and apply new coatings. Various metal work needed to meet KDHE and OSHA standards to include but not limited to: lockable ladder gate and an alternate to install a cable safety climb system.

Bidding Documents may be examined at the treatment plant located at 1820 W Kansas Ave in Garden City, Kansas, or at the Engineer’s Office.

Bidding Documents – Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $100.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded by the contractor will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Sales Tax Status – Labor services, materials, and equipment incorporated into the work for the project are exempt from payment of Kansas Sales Tax. A Project Exemption Certificate will be issued for this project.

Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60-days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
