PWWSD 18 and EBH worked together to develop a major replacement project for the water plants failing membrane filtration units. Our team wanted to simplify a complicated treatment method previously used. Taking advantage of a narrow 45 day window, where the plant could be shut down, the project team successfully removed the old equipment and replaced them with a custom built filtration system. The project lowered operating costs and increased reliability, all with minimal impact to the end user.
