On April 24, in celebration of the 2013 Earth Day, USDA Rural Development recognized Public Wholesale Water supply District no.18 for investing in its future by partnering with the agency to improve the district’s water system.
PWWSD 18 and EBH worked together to develop a major replacement project for the water plants failing membrane filtration units. Our team wanted to simplify a complicated treatment method previously used. Taking advantage of a narrow 45 day window, where the plant could be shut down, the project team successfully removed the old equipment and replaced them with a custom built filtration system. The project lowered operating costs and increased reliability, all with minimal impact to the end user.jump to project information

EBH provided an effective and innovative solution to the client. Rather than complicating the existing plant, EBH designed a simple replacement system for the existing process. The simplified design allowed for greater efficiency thus reducing operating costs.
