The City of Hillsboro, Kansas will receive sealed bids for the 2018 Hillsboro St Imp – West Grand Mill and Overlay, Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson Reconstruction, at City Hall in Hillsboro, 118 East Grand, Hillsboro, Kansas 67063 until 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 13, 2019. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Major items of work include Approximately:

BASE BID: 3750 square yards of Milling, 1200 tons of HMA Commercial Grade, Traffic Control

ALTERNATE 1: 3 RCB Structures, 6625 square yards of 4” Crushed Base over Geogrid, 800 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement, 4,650 square yards of 6” Concrete Pavement, 125 square yards of 8” Valley Gutter, 5,200 linear feet of Curb & Gutter, Traffic Control

ALTERNATE 2: 3 RCB Structures, 6625 square yards of 4” Crushed Base over Geogrid, 800 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement, 1,720 tons of 6” HMA Commercial Grade , 4,650 square yards of 6” Concrete Pavement, 125 square yards of 8” Valley Gutter, 5,200 linear feet of Curb & Gutter, Traffic Control

ALTERNATE 3: 3 RCB Structures, 6,000 square yards of 10” Cement Treated Base, 700 square yards of 4” Crushed Base over Geogrid, 800 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement, 860 tons of 3” HMA Commercial Grade , 125 square yards of 8” Valley Gutter, 5,200 linear feet of Curb & Gutter, Traffic Control and other appurtenances.

Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or to reject any or all bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
