The City of Hillsboro will receive sealed bids for the 2018 Hillsboro Street Improvements – Waterline Streets. City of Hillsboro, 118 East Grand, Hillsboro, KS 67063  until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Base Bid:  1^st Street from Adams St to alley east of Wilson St & Wilson Street from 1^st St to C St

175 square yards of 8” Concrete Valley Gutter; 7,300 square yards of 6” Concrete Pavement; 1,100 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement; 5,200 linear feet of Curb & Gutter; 2,720 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation; 10,200 square yards of Place 4”Crushed Rock Base over Geogrid; 10,200 square yards of 4” Crushed Rock Base; 200 square yards of 4” Sidewalk; Seeding and Traffic Control

Add/Alt 1:  C Street from Adams St to Kennedy St

120 square yards of 8” Concrete Valley Gutter; 2,915 square yards of 6” Concrete Pavement; 200 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement; 1,720 linear feet of Curb & Gutter; 1,000 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation; 3,815 square yards of Place 4”Crushed Rock Base over Geogrid; 3,815 square yards of 4” Crushed Rock Base;  50 square yards of 4” Sidewalk; Seeding and Traffic Control

Bidding Documents may be examined at City of Hillsboro and at the Engineer’s office.

Each of the projects will be reviewed separately for compliance with the Bid Documents, and the OWNER reserves the right to award the contracts to two separate contractors or to award as a package to one single contractor.

OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.
