Cimarron Main Street Water Line Improvements 2023
Sealed Bids for the construction of Main Street Waterline Improvements will be received, by the City of Cimarron, Kansas, addressed as follows: City of Cimarron, PO Box 467, Cimarron, KS 67835 until 2:00 P.M, Thursday, September 28, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time in the City Hall, 119 Main St., Cimarron, KS. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.
Work consists of: The major items of work include water line improvements:, 1554 linear feet 6” DR18 C900 Certa-Lok Pipe, 1499 linear feet 6” Bore (Pipe not incl.), 268 linear feet 6” Bore w/12” Steel Encasement (Pipe not incl.), 217 Linear Feet 6” Jack w/12” Steel Encasement (Pipe not incl.), 1 each Pressure Reducing Valve w/Concrete Manhole, 2 each 4” Gate Valve w/Valve Box, 15 each 6” Gate Valve w/Valve Box, 8 each Waterline Connection, 4 each Fire Hydrant Assembly (3-way), 484 linear feet 1” Service Line w/Tracer Wire, 300 linear feet 1” Bore, 16 each 1” Service Connection (incl. Saddle, Corp Stop & Fittings), 86 linear feet 1½” Service Line w/Tracer Wire, 76 linear feet 1½” Bore, 1 each 1½” Service Connection (incl. Saddle, Corp Stop & Fittings), 4 each Monitoring Station for Tracer Wire, 8 each Waterline Abandonment, 9 each Valve and Valve Box Abandonment, 4 each Fire Hydrant Removal, 1 each Sanitary Sewer Crossing, 14 square yards Remove & Replace Gravel Surfacing, 132 square yards Remove & Replace Concrete Sidewalk, 116 square yards Remove Pavement & Replace w/Concrete, , and other appurtenances.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com\plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $100.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security: Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.
Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
