The City of Cimarron, Kansas will receive sealed bids for the construction of SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS 2026 at City of Cimarron, 119 S. Main St, P.O. Box 467, Cimarron, Kansas 67835 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Major items of work include approximately: 1 L.S. of Mobilization, 484 C.Y. of Common Excavation, 105 C.Y. of Rock Excavation, 493 L.F. of Curb & Gutter, Combined (AE), 6 S.Y. of Concrete Pavement (8”)(Reinforced), 3116 S.Y. of Sidewalk Construction (4”)(AE)(Reinforced), 1196 S.Y. of Sidewalk Construction (6”)(AE)(Reinforced), 23 Each of Sidewalk Ramp, 7 S.Y. Truncated Dome Surfacing, 36 L.F. of Handrail, 20 Tons of Remove and Replace Gravel Surfacing, 2 Each of Adjustment of Water Meters, 11 Each of Adjustment of Valve Boxes, 2 Each of Adjustment of Manholes, 1 Each of Remove and Replace Concrete Vault Top, 56 L.F. of Pavement Marking (Multi-Component)(White)(24”), 26.76 S.F. Sign (Flat Sheet)(High Performance), 48 L.F. of Sign Post (2-1/2” Perf. Square Steel Tube), 12 Each Sign (Remove and Reset), 1 L.S. of Seeding, 1 L.S. of Erosion Control, 1 L.S. of Traffic Control, 1 L.S. of Contractor Construction Staking, and various other appurtenances.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com\plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $175.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bid security: Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or to reject any or all bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
