Sealed Bids for the construction of RYAN AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS 2026 will be received, by the City of Danville, Kansas, addressed as follows: City of Danville, 323 Ryan Avenue, Danville, KS 67036 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time in the City Hall, 323 Ryan Avenue, Danville, Kansas 67036. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.

Work consists of: The major items of work include street improvements: 262 cubic yards of Excavation, 160 tons of Milling, 610 tons of HMA-Commercial Grade (Class A), 40 tons of HMA-Commercial Grade (Class A) (Patching), 668 square yards of Aggregate Base (AB-1)(6”) with Geogrid, Erosion Control, Traffic Control, Contractor Construction Staking and other appurtenances.

Bidding Documents may be examined at City Hall in Danville, Kansas, at the Engineer’s Office.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com\plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $175.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
