Bids for the Finney County Rural Water District No. 1 Water Tower Improvements 2025 project will be received by in-person at 4532 Jones Avenue, Garden City, Kansas 67846, or electronically on the online plan room of the Engineer: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, until Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read via telephone and video conference immediately after the specified closing time. Interested persons may listen to a live teleconference of the bid opening by dialing 1-785-289-5712 and entering conference ID 793119135#. A link to the video feed of the bid opening will be sent to plan holder’s email addresses on the day prior to bid opening. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.

Major items of work include: Designing and constructing a new 150,000-Gallon welded steel elevated water tower, single pedestal spheroidal type, including foundation; furnishing and installing 12″ water line, including valves & fittings, to connect new tank into distribution system; fencing and gates; electrical work; site work; and appurtenances.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $150.00 per set. No refunds will be made.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference is not scheduled.

Bid security: Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
