Sealed bids for the Fowler Water Distribution Improvements project were received on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. The project is currently in post-bid review and will be awarded pending agency and city approval.

Major items of work: Water distribution system improvements including: 14,433 L.F. of 6-inch and 8,506 L.F. of 8-inch AWWA C900 PVC water line; 85 L.F. of jack and bore with 12-inch steel casing; 106 gate valves; 23 fire hydrants; 204 1-inch service connections; four 2-inch service connections; two 3-inch service connections; 73 5/8-inch x 3/4-inch, two 1-inch, three 2-inch, and two 3-inch meter replacements; 19 service tie-ins; remote meter reading system; two water well evaluations; railroad permit and insurance; seeding; erosion control; traffic control; and associated appurtenances.
