Sealed Bids for the construction of CITY OF HILLSBORO – 2025 HILLSBORO SOUTH WILSON & SOUTH LINCOLN STREETS IMPROVEMENTS will be received either in person at the Office of the City Clerk or to the online plan room of EBH Engineering (https://ebhengineering.com/planroom/) until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.

Base Bid:
3400 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation; 4950 square yards of 4” Crushed Base over Geo; 3600 square yards of 6” Crushed Base over Geo; 6500 square yards of 6” Concrete Pavement; 180 square yards of 8” Concrete Valley Gutter; 4500 linear feet of Curb & Gutter; 1050 square yards of 6” Concrete Entrance Pavement; 540 square yards of 4” Sidewalk; 55 Mailbox Rem/Reset; 10 Sign Rem/Reset; 9 Manhole Adjustments; 3 Curb Drain Installations; 6 ADA Ramps; 1 Monitoring Well Adjustments; 1 Inlet Relocation; and Traffic Control

Add/Alternate 1 Bid:
3600 square yards of 6” Crushed Base Over Geo. In the Base Bid, this line item is using City Supplied crushed material. In this Add/Alt 1 Bid is for Contractor supplied and installed crushed material. The use of this line item could vary from 0 to 3600 square yards, based on the City Stockpile for the Base Bid.

Add/Alternate 2 Bid:
34 Sanitary Sewer Service Installations. This line item is to install City Supplied taps and contractor supplied Schedule 40 PVC pipe to the ROW. The use of this line item will be based on information the city is currently gathering on the condition of the individual residence sanitary sewer services. The used number of installations under this line item could range from 0 to 34.

Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH online Plan Room.

Bid security: Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
