The City of Hoisington needed improvements to replace the pavement on 2nd Street, one block of west of Main Street and two blocks east of Main in Hoisington, Kansas. EBH Engineering worked with the city and contractor to make sure all businesses along this roadway improvement were not impacted by construction. The project improved 2nd Street by replacing the existing pavement with six inches of concrete over a six-inch aggregate base. Most of the existing curb and gutter was replaced. Broken sections of the existing sidewalk were replaced and ADA ramps were poured. This project was funded with KDOT Cost Share Program.
