The City of Holton, Kansas, will receive sealed bids for the construction of 2026 Collection System Rehabilitation: Point Repairs at the City Hall, 430 Pennsylvania Ave., Holton, KS 66436, or electronically on the online plan room of the engineer: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, until March 26, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. CT local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read immediately after the specified closing time.

Major items of work include: Rehabilitation of sanitary sewer collection system including constructing five manholes, approximately 40 feet of various depth point repairs, repair of asphalt, gravel and brick surfacing, traffic control, and appurtenances.

All work to be completed within City Public Right-of-Way. Work shall be completed prior to July 31, 2026. No work shall be completed on weekends or holidays. All work shall take place between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. local central time.

Bidding Documents may be examined at City Hall in Holton, Kansas, or at the Engineer’s Office.

Bidding Documents: Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com/plan-room, by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH website Plan Room.  Hard copies of the Bidding Documents are available at the Engineer’s office upon depositing $150.00 per set. No refunds will be made. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded by the contractor will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the date of the opening thereof.
