Peabody Walnut Avenue Lighting 2025
Sealed Bids for the construction of CITY OF PEABODY – 2025 LIGHTING FOR WALNUT AVE PHASE BASE GRANT will be received either in person at the Office of the City Clerk or to the online plan room of EBH Engineering (https://ebhengineering.com/planroom/) until 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 27, 2025. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.
Work consists of: The major items of work include: 3200 lf of 2” Schedule 40 PVC Pipe, Control Box, 5000 lf of 277V light circuit wiring, 8000 lf of 120V outlet circuit, 24 each 12’ light pole, 12 each 18’ light pole, with optional banner arms and flag holders and other appurtenances.
Bidding Documents may be examined at the City of Peabody, City Hall OR Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained through the Engineer’s website: www.ebhengineering.com\plan-room , by entering your information in the required fields. Addenda, if any, and Plan Holders list will also be available through the EBH online Plan Room.
Project Funding – This project is funded in part by the Kansas Department Of Commerce BASE Grant.
Building a Stronger Economy (BASE) Funding – The project is partially funded with BASE grant funding from the Kansas Department of Commerce. BASE grant funding will only be utilized on line items pertaining to Add/Alternate 1 Bid. The funds and ONLY these funds are exempt from the following federal program requirements: Federal Rail Administration, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.
Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60-days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
